Zwa KiZwa Ki means defense against attack in a sitting or kneeling position. Both you and your opponent assume a kneeling position (facing each other) and opponent throws a punch to your face. You should use wrapping block and joint lock to immobilize him. In the second category, while you kneel, opponent grabs your back collar (from his standing position) with one hand and will try to punch you with the other hand. You should use the pressure point on his leg and throw him backward. In the last category, while you are in kneeling position, opponent executes front kick toward your face or chest. You should block down with open hand X block and then throw him. |
